The essential function of this robust and portable PKI 9215 EOD Tripod is to lift heavy objects of up to 2.260 kg during EOD operations (including IEDD). Our two-section telescopic legs can be locked at a range of heights enabling it to be used in areas of restricted height or on sloping ground. The head is fitted with leg stops in order to prevent the tripod from collapsing under load, as well as eyes and a karabiner for attaching lifting tackle and for tying objects down. Self-adjusting feet may be pegged to the ground for extra stability. The PKI 9215 EOD Tripod is a high strength aluminium construction and is supplied with a set of anchor pegs in a durable nylon transport case.
